🌟 Sorkh : A Legacy of Iranian Authenticity in the Digital World
When this project was presented to me, as a designer, the challenge was clear: how can I seamlessly blend the rich heritage and authenticity of Iranian saffron into a modern✨, user-friendly experience? 😊The key was to emphasize the deeply rooted Iranian identity of the store while ensuring it remains contemporary and engaging.🌰
💡 Key Challenges
1️⃣ Maintaining Authenticity: My primary challenge was creating a design that captures the traditional charm of Iranian saffron while offering a sleek, modern experience.
2️⃣ Educating the User: Many customers may not be familiar with the different types of saffron (e.g., Negin, Sargol, Dasteh, etc.), so clear and non-complicated information presentation was crucial.
3️⃣ Seamless Online Experience: Ensuring the shopping process was simple and trustworthy enough to attract customers from around the globe.
✅ What I Did:
Color Palette & Aesthetic: I drew inspiration from saffron's natural elements: warm purples, deep reds, and rich golds, creating a luxurious yet authentic visual identity that reflects the elegance of Iranian culture.
Design Elements & Typography: Incorporating Iranian art elements, I used traditional typography and graphic patterns reminiscent of Iranian architecture to instill a sense of heritage and authenticity throughout the website.
Simplified User Experience: I designed a streamlined search and filtering system, enabling users to easily find their desired saffron product, making the entire process intuitive and accessible to everyone.🌿
✨ The Result?
This project goes beyond being just an online store; it’s a digital showcase of Iranian saffron’s rich heritage, blending modern functionality with timeless authenticity.
