CalSafeGuard
Back in Autumn 2023, I had to work on a project with a few other class members at San Francisco State University. We called this project CalSafeGuard.
This goal was to develop a website which listed fire, health, weather or security alerts in every county in California. The user was able see and filter the alerts, see in which county of California they were located and a dashboard presentation of the data available. Certified users (like sheriffs for example) were able to create new alerts.
As you may guess, I was responsible for the whole Ui/Ux aspect of the project. This meant that my tasks were:
Creation of personas and use cases
List of data and entities
Initial list of functional and non-functional requirements
Competitive analysis
Storyboard and user interface mock-ups
I was also responsible for some parts of the Front-end platform development using ReactJS and Chakra-UI.
As always, feedback is appreciated!
