AI CX Researcher

In a Y Combinator video Jared Friedman shared a bold prediction: by 2025, we might be able to have Zoom calls with AI. I had a light bulb moment!

I’ve been experimenting with a product concept - an AI agent designed to conduct moderated CX and UX interviews at scale. It could gather findings, provide recordings, and display actionable insights on a dashboard to help small teams make better decisions.

During the user testing with my prototype (Chat interface powered AI Interviewer), I discovered something interesting:

🛑 Test users didn’t enjoy typing their responses in a chat interface.

✂️ They shortened their answers, and this dampened the depth and authenticity of their emotions.

💭 Then, it hit me - what if we took Jared’s prediction and gave this AI agent a lifelike avatar? Imagine an AI interviewer with real facial expressions and body movements, making the interaction feel natural and conversational. Users wouldn’t hold back their thoughts or emotions, leading to richer insights.

🤔 What if these avatars were fun and memorable? Picture your AI interviewer as Spider-Man, Homer Simpson, or even The Joker!

For small teams, this could revolutionize how they conduct consistent CX and UX interviews at scale while maintaining a human touch.
