About client
Ruhe embodies tranquillity and mindful rest, offering handcrafted tropical villas designed for intimate, personalized stays. With elegant design, exceptional service, and curated experiences, Ruhe bridges the gap between guests and magical moments. From tailored itineraries to 24/7 support, every detail ensures a seamless and unforgettable home-away-from-home experience.
About project goal
The first task is to understand the old website and its customer offerings. As the name Ruhe Stays suggests, it is a platform for villa accommodations with various rooms and amenities. During a call with the client, I gathered that they want to replace the old website with a new one. The main concept is to ensure the website clearly conveys its purpose to customers, with villa images made more prominent. The hero section should feature an aesthetic video to attract the customer's attention.
About this design
I have designed this layout using the brand colours provided by the client. The key UX feature we added is a prominently placed enquiry form in the second section, ensuring users can easily fill it out without any hassle. The overall theme is simple, incorporating a line-style design to evoke a sense of luxury.
Additionally, there is a dedicated section for exploring the properties, each with its detailed page. Another consideration is the limitation of developing the website on WordPress, which must be accounted for.
Once booking details are received, the client confirms the customer’s visiting time.
I have also created a mobile-friendly version of the design, as it is crucial to optimize for frequently used devices.
