If you think being a UI/UX designer means only working on mobile apps or websites, think again. In startups or moderately sized companies, you might be the only designer on the team. That means you're responsible for everything—from creating posters and social media creatives to designing marketing materials and the product itself.

Here’s my advice: along with mastering UI/UX, make sure you learn the basics of graphic design. It’s not just a “nice-to-have” skill—it’s a necessity. This versatility will set you apart and prepare you for real-world challenges.

This poster design is a perfect example of what I’ve learned along the way. I’m not a graphic designer, but with some creativity and effort, I could still make it work.
