Nine Quill: Showcasing Graphic Design Skills Through Magazine Covers
As a graphic designer, I created six unique magazine covers for the conceptual sports brand Nine Quill. Each cover represents a different sport—Hockey, Running, Basketball, General Fitness, Fencing (Katana), and Bo Staff—demonstrating my ability to adapt designs to specific themes while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
In this project, I focused on key elements of editorial design, including bold typography, structured layouts, and carefully selected color palettes. For example:
Hockey: Yellow and white were used to symbolize energy and focus.
Running: Bold red tones conveyed passion and intensity.
Each cover integrates the Nine Quill logo, a symbol of precision and creativity, to reinforce brand consistency. This project allowed me to:
Design visually appealing magazine covers tailored to the essence of each sport.
Apply advanced skills in typography and color theory to create impactful designs.
Showcase proficiency in tools like Adobe InDesign and Photoshop for professional layouts.
By presenting these covers, I aim to highlight my ability to create striking, audience-focused designs that communicate brand values effectively. This work demonstrates my expertise in graphic design, creative direction, and delivering polished outcomes for professional projects.
