Duhumbi Heritage Fair

Our goal with creating the visual identity project?

To showcase and promote the rich ancient cultural heritage, traditional crafts, and sustainable practices of the local communities of Chug Valley.

The logo is made up of 20 symbols, each one representing Duhumbi Heritage Fair’s objectives and community attributes. These elements are encompassed in an emblem with rustic lettering that sits on boulders - representing the stone and mud homes of the traditional Brokpas.

The visual identity emphasizes the harmony between the people of Chug Valley and nature. Utilizing earthy tones alongside the vibrant colors of prayer flags, the colour palette symbolizes the wisdom and resilience of the community. The illustrations and patterns are designed to reflect the mountains, pastures, produce of the land, and the culture of the Chug Valley people, enhancing the overall dynamism of the identity.
