Webpage for event
My role: UX/UI designer (for Webpage) & Senior Creative Designer (for rebrand)
Goal: to develop a webpage for the company’s flagship event that aligns with the event's new branding, effectively promotes event subscriptions, and showcases key highlights including the agenda, resources, venue, and speakers.
Main challenge: there's limited creative freedom and functionality due to reliance on a semi-outdated and inflexible CMS, hindering the ability to deliver an optimal user experience.
Product: webpage for flagship event.
Pain points:
• Restricted to a CMS that hinders creativity and functionality, risking an optimal user experience.
• Short timelines and multiple stakeholders requiring content input and approval caused delays, challenging the design process before the event.
Solutions:
• Developed workarounds and custom solutions within the CMS constraints, ensuring a balance between platform limitations and delivering a user-centered design.
• Optimized approvals and prioritized key tasks to meet the deadline while accommodating stakeholder input.
Tone: bold and modern.
Channel: Web.
