Higher Ground Abodes - Housing Assistance - Bifold Brochure

A fundraising brochure (4-page, bifold, letter size) for Higher Ground Abodes of Detroit, Michigan.

🎯Goal: Attract donors to renovate a community-owned duplex that will be used as a shared living space for young adults transitioning out of foster care.

Design Choices

🔈 Create emotional appeal and make donors feel invited, empowered, and involved. ("Help transform", "Be part of the mission", "Help restore")

✅ Establish trust in the organization by stating their plan, vision, and progress. (Include mission, milestones already achieved, and projected long-term impact).

🖼 Choose imagery that reflects unity and potential (progress pics, community, and people working together).

🎨 Use brand colors intentionally 1) yellow is used to create urgency and call for attention/help 2) brand green reflects positive results that will result from help.

Logo and colors provided by the organization. Shapes (steps, triangles to represent roofs) inspired by the logo.
