Challenge
The existing analytics system was outdated and cumbersome, requiring teachers to spend significant time manually analysing data in Excel. The challenge was to design an intuitive, adaptable platform that could handle large data sets, provide rich visualisation options, and improve usability across hundreds of report states.

Key Deliverables
1. Graph Visualisations
Designed five graph types: bar, pie, stacked bar, line, and radar charts to showcase different report types. Ensured clean, uncluttered interfaces using colour to differentiate data points for clarity.
2. Smart Selection Menu
Developed an interactive menu for teachers to filter, adjust, and explore data seamlessly. Designed options to dynamically update graphs and provide deeper, more meaningful insights.
3. Data Grid Views
Added alternative data tables beneath graphs, including measures like mean, median progress, and standard deviation, giving users multiple ways to interpret student performance.
4. Informative Tooltips
Used tooltips and keys for quick access to additional details without cluttering the visual space.
5. Notes Functionality
Enabled teachers to drop notes on specific graph points, linking to their report criteria and improving collaboration through smart filters.
6. Design System for Evisense
Adapted the platform's design system to Evisense, ensuring consistency while tailoring the visuals to match its unique branding.
