Katholische Pfarrei Beata Maria Virgo

Introducing the new Logo for »Katholische Pfarrei Beata Maria Virgo Neuzelle«, the catholic parish church of Neuzelle in Brandenburg, Germany.

The logo reflects the traditional heraldry the church had for a long time. Depicting a crowned Mary with Jesus as a child in her arm. In her right hand she is holding a lily and Jesus is depicted with a reigning orb. All these elements reflecting a deep symbolism within the theology of the catholic church.

We came out with traditional, yet clean iteration. Inspired by history and tradition but also fit for the future. I used three different fonts for the branding Thanatos and Schmaltzy by Herzberg Design Co. as well as Staten by Kevin Cantrell.
