Happy Holidays - Cinemagraph

One of the set of cinemagraphs I created for the Holidays. The fun part of cinemagraphs is that it is filmed as a video with more than one element of movement, in post only one of those elements is left to move creating a trippy effect. In this case, I stuck a black card on the wall to create the studio effect. Decorated a dark chest with branches, pine cones baubles and cinnamon sticks. Using a blinking fairy lights and a burning candle, I recorded a short video of the scene. In post, I isolated the candle to be stagnant. Add a festive font and BAM ... festive cinemagraph.
