Pakistan Air Force - 1998-2008: A new dawn
The former editor of Air Forces Monthly approached me to assist in crafting a comprehensive history of the Pakistan Air Force, covering a pivotal era from 1998 to 2008. Alan aimed to produce a book that showcased the professionalism, excellence, and autonomy of the Air Force. The decision to adopt a magazine-style format for the book was intentional, blending narrative and imagery to produce a visually striking effect.

The Pakistan Air Force decided to undertake a challenging and unique project: the design and construction of its own fighter aircraft. By incorporating a blend of technologies still addressing the PAF's tactical requirements, this initiative circumvents the impact of Western sanctions that the PAF and several other airforces have faced in recent years. The Pakistan Air Force showcased the JF-17 Thunder at the Paris Airshow, necessitating a brochure that emphasised its numerous capabilities and strengths. Alan Warnes, the author, requested my assistance in designing a brochure that highlighted its history.
