Łapinóżka
Łapinóżka ("Catching-Legs") is an old name for a lake where I grew up. I’ve always wondered about the origins of the name—especially since a nearby lake is called Zabijak ("Killer") 👀 and there’s also the Sobiepanka ("Self-Made Lady") River ✨. Maybe one day I’ll uncover the stories behind these intriguing names. In the meantime, this is how I imagine Łapinóżka.
