Meal Ready-to-Eat (US and ROKA)
MRE stands for "Meal Ready-to-Eat" and I was inspired by a YouTuber(Steve1989MREInfo) to create this illustration with my personal military experience in the South Korean Army. In this illustration, all U.S. MREs are based on the 1950s or even older ones, and Korean MREs were had while I was in service. At that time, we sometimes had a day to consume almost close to the expiration date of MRE. Its taste was not too bad but I wouldn't say it was delicious. I can't forget the taste of Ramen I ate in the military usually cooked directly in a plastic bag (Army Stew). After more than 20 years later, I, sometimes, miss that taste, ironically.
