TaxTacker - complex redesign of corporate website

Task details

TaxTaker provides tax credit services for commercial property owners, tech companies, and high-growth businesses, helping them leverage federal incentives to improve cash flow and foster growth. Recognizing that TaxTaker's website is a crucial touchpoint for potential clients, we set out to create a website that not only reflects their expertise but also provides a seamless and engaging user experience. Our task was to enhance the site's usability, optimize content clarity, and establish a modern, trustworthy visual brand that resonates with TaxTaker’s target audience.

Design process

Our design process for TaxTaker's corporate website redesign involved extensive research, planning, and collaboration. We started by identifying pain points in the current user experience and conducted an in-depth analysis of user behavior. This informed our decisions on enhancing the site’s structure, incorporating conversion-boosting elements, and ensuring the design aligns with TaxTaker's branding. Our approach included developing user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, each step focused on creating a streamlined and effective website for TaxTaker's clients.

Research & Userflow

Design

In the redesign phase, we focused on crafting a cohesive and visually engaging interface that reflects TaxTaker’s professionalism. Our design emphasized a clean layout with easy navigation, optimized for user engagement and conversion. We incorporated TaxTaker’s brand colors and refined typography to create a modern, trustworthy aesthetic. By balancing functionality with aesthetics, we ensured that the new design conveys TaxTaker’s expertise and makes it easy for users to explore services.

Services pages

To effectively showcase TaxTaker’s offerings, we redesigned the services pages with a user-centric approach. Each page highlights a specific tax credit service, such as R&D Tax Credits and Energy-Efficient Building Deductions, with clear explanations and visuals that break down complex information. Our goal was to make it easy for users to understand and navigate the range of services TaxTaker provides, ultimately guiding them toward taking action and exploring how these services can benefit their business.

Blog & SEO

For the blog and SEO strategy, we focused on creating a content hub that establishes TaxTaker as a thought leader in tax credit services. We structured blog posts around keywords like “R&D tax credits” and “energy-efficient tax deductions” to drive organic traffic. Informative articles on tax credits, legislative changes, and financial strategies are crafted to attract and retain users, helping TaxTaker engage with a broader audience and improve search engine rankings.

Calculate

We developed an interactive calculator feature that enables users to estimate their potential tax credits, providing immediate value and encouraging engagement. This tool is particularly valuable for businesses exploring options like the R&D Tax Credit, as it gives a tangible preview of potential savings. The calculator enhances user experience by giving visitors a reason to stay and explore TaxTaker’s offerings in-depth.

Personal account

The personal account section allows users to manage their information and track tax credit estimates with ease. Designed for accessibility and usability, this feature empowers clients to interact directly with TaxTaker’s services, fostering a sense of control and transparency. We streamlined this section to ensure it aligns with TaxTaker’s commitment to a seamless, customer-centric experience.
