Blue Skies
A developer friend and I challenged ourselves to spend 10 days designing and developing 10 different apps from suggested topics that we draw at the start of each day -- check out our website at the.appcookbook.in
This day's topic was "Flight Anxiety." We did some quick research and learned that breathing exercises are a good way to deal with flight anxiety; throughout the course of the day, we developed a relaxation app called "Blue Skies" that guides users through a relaxing breathing exercise as they watch paper planes float gently between real airports on a minimal map background. Each of the six "flights" in a cycle gets progressively longer, causing the the participant to slow down his/her breathing and progressively relax throughout the course of the exercise.
