A Program to train my exploration skills using Artificial Intelligence

This is my exercise to improve my exploration skills in designing an interface with the help of artificial intelligence.

Here's how I'm doing this:

Open your favorite sources of illustrations or photos

You can use Freepik, Unsplash, etc., and pick one that interests you the most.

Here I'm using the illustration packages from DrawKit (You can download them here)

Go to the ChatGPT by OpenAI

Why I'm choosing ChatGPT?

For me, the most time-consuming part is figuring out what should I write in my design exercise. By using ChatGPT I'm eliminating it and able to speed up my design process.

Input your illustration to ChatGPT and insert the prompt!

There are a lot of prompt variations that you can use, but for this example, I'm going with this one:

"Hey GPT, I want to exercise my UI design ability, can you give me an idea of a website from the given illustration above?"

GPT will give you a couple of ideas that fit the illustrations, you can choose one of them or maybe combine it all, it's all up to you.

For this example, I'm going with the idea of a "Farm-to-Table Website" below:

From it, you can start from the landing page first.

You can use the full-sized illustration or you can break it down and use it in parts. For this example, I'm splitting the illustration into two parts, the first part used in the "hero section" and the second part in the "about us section"

You can use GPT to help you ideate the hero sections, here's how I'm doing that

By using the guides generated by GPT, I'm able to start right away, don't waste any time figuring out what to write in the hero section, and get stuck there.

After that, I'm moving to the "About Us" section. Again, using the ideas generated by GPT.

And here I'm using GPT again to generate the details for the "our product" sections.

Finishing the Website

If you are done with the general information for the website, you can finish it by configuring each item according to your design style.

Here are the final results of my exploration for this example:

You can also use it with mockups or any design presentation you like.
