Moyale Pastors Fellowship — Brand Identity
This is the brand identity for Moyale Pastors Fellowship, a community of pastors and church leaders from over 10 denominations across the Moyale and Marsabit regions. The goal was to create a unifying identity that embodies inclusivity and shared faith while respecting the diversity of its members.
The identity focuses on being minimal and direct, reflecting the fellowship’s core belief: to embrace all members regardless of denomination. At its heart, the design emphasizes unity and the basic principles of a Christian community.
The logo is a thoughtful combination of elements:
A circle over a cross: Symbolizing heaven and Christ as the ultimate goal of faith.
The cross: A universal Christian symbol, serving as the uniting thread across all denominations.
The lower section (earth): Acknowledging the earthly realm, where the church and its community thrive, and emphasizing humility and inclusion.
This balanced composition conveys the connection between the divine and the earthly, a key theme of the fellowship.
Color Palette & Typography
The chosen colors carry specific meanings:
Deep Purple (#6A4D93): Represents divinity, heritage, and spiritual depth.
Dark Blue-Gray (#2C2E50): Symbolizes strength and unity.
Light Gray (#E0E0E0): Adds modernity and a sense of openness.
For typography, I used:
Open Sans: Clean and approachable, representing inclusiveness and clarity.
Garamond: A timeless serif font, symbolizing heritage and tradition.
The combination ensures readability while maintaining a sense of reverence and history.
The final design is a cohesive identity that aligns with the fellowship's mission: to unite a diverse group of leaders under a shared vision while honoring their unique traditions. It bridges the gap between heritage and forward-thinking, creating a timeless yet modern look.
