Curating the Flavour

I worked with Hedley & Bennett on their Creator's Collection in collaboration with chef influencer Tini Younger, which was all about blending culinary creativity with bold tattoo-inspired aesthetics.

Tini, a tattoo enthusiast, wanted three unique illustrations that reflected her personality and passions - including elements like the Maryland blue crab, mac and cheese, Hedley & Bennett’s iconic knife, tulips, and more.

The process involved several iterations to carefully balance Tini’s requested elements while keeping the designs visually striking and harmonious.

Crafting the Details

The design challenge was to bring together these diverse elements into cohesive, embroidery-friendly artwork while staying true to the bold energy of traditional tattoo styles and working with a limited colour palette.

The resulting designs were playful, detailed and full of character, embodying Tini’s vibrant personality and the craftsmanship of Hedley & Bennett.
