The next step was to further refine the lighting in the "filter." The image was deemed too dark overall, as you couldn't see the character out of the car window very well.

I used a soft brush to add a blob of color over her, and played with opacity and blending modes until we reached a satisfying spot. The transformation is more visible in the attachment.
