THE BRAND:
Designing Colonel Hathi, a wildlife tour expedition company inspired by the beloved elephant character from The Jungle Book. The company's aim is to provide great wildlife experiences through tours and stays.
THE DESIGN:
The approach used was to take inspiration from the characteristics of the elephant in the book, but enhance and elevate the visual appeal which works for the brand. The aim is to use the alphabets “C” and “H” and create a sophisticated monogram incorporating an elephant in the identity using gestalt principle. The idea was to make it minimal, distinct and versatile but easy to remember and recognize from other competitors and provide one-of-a- kind brand experience, leaving a lasting impression. The same visual language was then followed through out the brand collaterals for building consistency.
