Overview Altar Produce, a family-owned business and the world’s largest grower, packer, and shipper of premium asparagus, approached us for a website redesign. With a rich history starting from 20 acres of land and expanding into the leader of the industry, Altar Produce wanted a website that accurately reflected the quality and craftsmanship of their produce. They sought to increase brand awareness, showcase career opportunities, and highlight their global reach.

Discovery We began the process by thoroughly analyzing Altar Produce's existing website and conducting interviews with their team. The primary issue was that their current site didn’t reflect the premium quality of their products. The redesign was aimed at elevating the brand image to match their standing as an industry leader. Additional goals included promoting career opportunities and emphasizing their global market.
UX Strategy With a clear understanding of Altar’s goals, we created wireframes to map out the website’s structure and user experience. A major focus was simplifying messaging to effectively communicate Altar’s expertise in the produce industry. The layout was designed to be intuitive, ensuring easy navigation while showcasing their commitment to quality.
Build Since Altar had established branding, our job was to integrate their visual identity into the new design. We selected WordPress as the content management system (CMS) for its scalability and ease of use. The design featured responsive technology to ensure the site functioned seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes. The final design conveyed freshness and professionalism, aligning with the high-quality produce Altar is known for.
Test & Launch Once development was complete, we conducted rigorous internal testing. After ensuring the site’s functionality, we presented it to Altar Produce, offering a tutorial on how to manage and update the site. The new website was then ready for launch, equipped to meet Altar's needs for years to come.
