Overview Yoshinoya, a globally recognized brand with roots dating back to 1899 in Tokyo, approached SPINX Digital for a website redesign. With fresh leadership, a modernized brand identity, and remodeled restaurant concepts rebranded as "Japanese kitchens," they sought a website that would reflect their evolution while promoting their signature Gyudon Beef Bowl® and other offerings.
Discovery Yoshinoya's team shared their desire to refresh their US presence and provided insights into the challenges faced in previous redesign efforts. The goal was to highlight their food-first approach, attract new hires, and communicate the brand's modernization. SPINX conducted collaborative discovery sessions to refine the vision and address shortcomings in past design attempts.

UX Strategy A user-centered strategy prioritized showcasing Yoshinoya’s freshly prepared bowls through engaging imagery and concise, impactful copy. Wireframes were developed collaboratively, outlining a content structure that emphasized visual appeal and user engagement, ensuring a smooth and intuitive browsing experience.
Build SPINX crafted a visually captivating design using bold imagery, vibrant colors, and clear text that embodied Yoshinoya's values and modern aesthetic. Multiple design options were presented, and the chosen concept was applied across all site pages. The final designs, while not developed by SPINX, were handed over seamlessly to Yoshinoya’s internal team for implementation.
