Campaign: The Commentators: Making a bold impact

The mission

The campaign was simple. How do you make two radio talk show hosts with different opinions stand out in a crowded space? Give them grit, edge, and make them bigger than life. A multi-channel campaign was utilized with TV, radio, transit, and paid web banner ads. People noticed, started talking, tuned into their show, and engagement increased.

 

Project details

A multipart story was developed to create an unknown journey for the subjects. The TV spots give clues until a big reveal happens in the second spot. With a small crew we wrote the story, shot video, edited, animated, and created the print transit, and web banner ads. The TV spots were nominated for two Emmy Awards for Art Direction.
