Marketing Material Climate Change Center (CCC)
New Year's Greeting
After a heavy end of 2024, with Trump's election and the disintegration of the German government as well as cuts in the CCC's budget, I came up with this design.
It was almost therapeutical to show the tangled thoughts and worries that were filling our heads. To write a simple "Happy New Year and Happy Holidays" seemed almost like a blindfold. So we decided to adress the fact that 2024 had not been the best of years, but that all hope is not lost. We did so with a bit of "flash fiction" on the back of the card saying: "Mars colony for sale. Never needed." (a nod to Hemingway's "Baby shoes for sale. Never worn.")
Credits for this particular flash fiction go to my husband, who came up with it late at night lying in bed, after I told him I was trying to find a positive outlook on the current situation.
The pink outline suggest the shape in which we cut the card. It resembles the logo of the CCC.
Business card
One of the greatest benefits of the Berlin Climate Change Center is its network of scientist, owners of sustainable businesses, journalists and other facilitators and enablers. To enhance it even further, I put together this business card to hand out during events.
