SoundBioLab logo concepts for an open design contest. 

These concepts were developed for a nonprofit community biology lab in Seattle dedicated to making science accessible to all, with an emphasis on engaging youth and community members outside of traditional academia. 

The design brief called for a balance between playful creativity and scientific professionalism, appealing to diverse audiences. 

These concepts  explore two distinct approaches.

 One concept features science-related symbols like a lightbulb and Earth, emphasizing innovation and a global perspective on discovery. 

The second concept focuses on the joy of community and the creative process, highlighting collaboration and engagement. 

Both designs aim to strike a balance between playful creativity and scientific credibility, appealing to a diverse audience while being versatile enough for various platforms and materials.
