SKOPO - Jazz Events App
SKOPO - Jazz Events is a mobile app that lists all the nearby live jazz performances in one place.
Overview
The project aims to deliver a user-friendly mobile app that simplifies discovering nearby jazz events where users can buy tickets and use barcode for entry, get updates on new events, festivals, sales, early bird tickets - all in one place.
User flow
The user flow outlines the key decisions users would make while browsing events, adding events to wish list and buying tickets.
Wireframes
The wireframes are created based on the user flow and highlight key features such as event listings, event details, and the payment process.
Design system
Color
The color system for this project is developed to capture the vibrant dynamic spirit of jazz while ensuring an engaging user experience.
Primary color (Green): symbolizes energy, growth and the lively atmosphere of jazz events. It is used
for navigation, key call-to-action buttons and essential UI elements.
Secondary color (Orange): adds warmth and excitement to key elements, buttons and highlights.
Accent color (Yellow): injects a sense of joy and spontaneity and is used for the logo, and active shopping cart element.
Typography
The font style used throughout the app is Lato which offers a clean and modern look that ensures readability and complements the app's vibrant color palette.
Visual design
Based on the wireframes and the finalized style guide, the designs are refined into high-fidelity pages extending the visual branding to all the screens. By maintaining consistency in typography, font sizes and color palette, there is an ensured unified look and feel.
Testing
After testing the designs and identifying the pain points of the app, minor adjustments are made to buttons, font sizes and hierarchy.
There is a basic prototype below that highlights the app's features.
Developer handoff
Detailed annotations and measurements are created using the Designdoc plugin, ensuring the delivery of accurate versions.
