Lightbay Capital Website Redesign
Overview: Lightbay Capital is a middle-market private equity firm focused on long-term growth through strategic partnerships. They needed a professional, modern website to reflect their credibility and showcase their achievements. Our team worked to craft a digital presence that aligned with their goals and elevated their brand.
Discovery: We started with in-person stakeholder interviews at Lightbay’s Los Angeles office. This meeting provided valuable insights into their target audience, primary website goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Follow-up questionnaires refined the direction for the redesign
UX Strategy: The Portfolio page was designed for easy navigation, enabling users to explore Lightbay’s investments and dive into detailed case studies. The Strategy and Expertise sections were structured to provide an at-a-glance view of their approach, encouraging deeper engagement through additional details.
Build: The existing blue brand color was expanded into a palette of blue-grey and white, evoking trust. Custom icons were created to visually represent offerings and values. Bold, high-quality banner images from a planned photoshoot gave the site a personal touch. A custom WordPress CMS allowed Lightbay to manage team profiles, portfolios, and news effortlessly.
Test & Launch: To ensure mobile responsiveness and performance, we conducted: Internal QA testing on multiple browsers and devices. A walkthrough with Lightbay to teach administrators how to manage content. Final uploads of photos and portfolio entries for a polished, personal finish. The website was integrated with Google Analytics to monitor ongoing performance.
