Wurmbrand Legacy book series design

A collection of book covers for Voice of the Martyrs —  I have enjoyed the challenge of redesigning the aesthetic feel and look of the Wurmbrand collection.

Fonts used on the cover: Varna

Tortured for Christ

Design direction: emblems of imprisonment including chains and metal cuffs. There is a subtle nod to the formation of the yet future Voice of the Martys ministry with the globe and the crown of thorns icons which join to become the VOM logo centered about Richard's name plate. Also featuring the dove of peace, the cross, communism and the nails of suffering.

Proof of God's Existence

Design direction: emblems of mathematics and science, including: Cogs, Fibonacci spiral, the planets, clock hands, and various angles.

From the Lips of Children

Design direction: emblems of children reading at night.

The Overcomers

Design direction:

emblems from the book of Revelation, including Lion and Lamb, crowns, victory laurel vines, ascending steps, background of globe lines, subtle cross, and stars.

The Pastor's Wife by Sabina Wurmbrand

Design direction: incorporating the same design aesthetics from the Richard Wurmbrand titles and subtle heart emblem.

Victorious Faith

Design direction: Ephesians 6 — the Armor of God.
