I created this illustration to be used as a header image on Perkins&Will's Insights platform. The illustration was created for an article that highlights the Climate Pledge Arena’s sustainability efforts, such as net-zero carbon operations and zero waste practices. It introduces the Gold standard (Green Operations and Advanced Leadership), a platform that helps sports and entertainment venues achieve sustainable practices. GOAL sets metrics like energy efficiency and waste reduction, with members from various sports leagues working towards sustainability goals. The article underscores the growing momentum in the industry, aiming to bring significant environmental change to large public venues.
