🎤 Spotify Singing Feedback

Who doesn’t enjoy blasting music and singing their heart out while following along with the lyrics? Spotify makes this so easy by providing most song lyrics within the app. The other day, I was channeling my inner Billy Joel, singing pretty badly — if my phone could hear me, it would probably turn itself off. (Maybe it does, and those poor marketers on the other side must suffer through the entire “Piano Man” song.) Anyway, this got me thinking…

What If… Spotify offered singing feedback when the lyrics were open, and it could hear you sing. It could provide encouragement and praise when you perform well or give constructive feedback if you need improvement. In my case, it might offer completely destructive comments that would drive me away from ever singing again!

This idea could be great for those who love singing but horrible for those who want to let off steam.

But don’t worry, you can sing to your heart’s content; I don’t think this feature is coming anytime soon.
