Animation – Seasonal Greeting

We researched and discovered 18 historical graphic designers and design eras, then created a short motion sequence based on a topic of our choice from the list. I was particularly drawn to Paul Rand's design style, so I incorporated playfulness, bright colours, and textures into my short animation.

This project was done during Term 4 while I was in Certificate 4 in Design, with the theme set as a seasonal greeting. It was my very first time using Adobe After Effects, and though it was a steep learning curve, I truly enjoyed the process. The bee flying and the eyes in the corner of the screen are also small nods to Paul Rand’s style. I hope you enjoy it!
