A Mere Illusion

FWB is just an illusion that you have a partner. In this context, “partner” refers strictly to a sexual relationship. That's what I often forget.

Because whatever this thing going on between me and my “partner”, it's all just an illusion, and I'm foolish enough to keep clinging to an illusion that could one day disappear in the blink of an eye.
