Coffee Trailer Branding and Vinyl: Freewheelin'

When Grant approached me with the idea of "adventurous coffee, breakfast, and bites" I knew what had to be done: a painting of an ambiguous western landscape. I thought that in a world of food trailers, using the entire side as one canvas might stand out. So many other trailers have a lot of words, or icons, spread over the entire front - and I wanted to contrast that, while communicating the adventurous vibe of Freewheelin'.

One of my favorite artists is Ed Mell, so I channeled a bit of that vibe, used my experience from a past life as an artist/illustrator for animation, made a cup of coffee (or 2... or 3...) and painted on my iPad until it was just right.
