Gig Poster - Ibibio Sound Machine
ISM and front-person Eno Williams is a clash of worlds fused together to create something new. Eno, in particular, talks about her inspiration found in fashion and patterns. I wanted to center the design around the idea of clashing two things; the captivating sound of the band, and Eno’s love of fashion. We have a pair of high-heel designer boots, modelled after some of Eno’s own style, which are patterned with the same triangular shapes found throughout ISM’s own brand imagery and album covers. The skate’s represent the heavy disco influence anchored throughout the band’s sound.
