REI Exclusive Altra x Smartwool Collab

Since July of 2023 I’ve been working with Smartwool as a Freelance Graphic Designer. I’ve worked on projects ranging from email marketing design to print ads and retail display graphics. This project was for an REI exclusive Altra x Smartwool Colllab. I helped use the established look and feel, campaign language, and photography to build out the full line up of assets which included retail fixture graphics, digital and print ads, and other supporting collateral such as a mailer box and stickers.

The main component of this project was the fixture graphics which existed in REI locations across the nation from 10/1 - 11/1 of 2024. The cold weather run collab consisted of road running sneakers, base layer tops, bottoms, mid layers, and socks. We designed fixtures for several departments including mens apparel, women’s apparel, and footwear, as well as front of store displays for certain locations.

Beyond the in-store collateral were a few pieces of marketing material including digital ads, web graphics, a direct mailer, and a mailer box intended to be filled with products from the collab and sent to sponsored athletes and influencers.
