High Frequency Highway UX/UI: App Concepts
High Frequency Highway is an ambitious app with a forward-thinking objective: utilize frequencies and soundscapes to help users tap into a specific mindset. As their userbase expands, so does the need for approachable and pleasing solution to consuming and monetizing sound, while also giving those users the ability to communicate with one another over topics of interest. Before I joined, the user experience needed to be beefed up and polished if they wanted to secure the funding they wished for.
What did I do?
I created new functionality (and improved existing functionality) to create an experience that was easy to use and pleasant to consume. The app's Frequency Generator was enhanced to unify each function for visual parity and clarity, making the app easier for users to learn without guidance. I created a Sound Player that can accessed from most major parts of the app, with sound information and player controls only a touch or two away. An AI Frequency Generator also added, allowing HFH users to tell the app what frequencies they want to hear and letting the app handle the rest. Users could now upload their own sounds, allowing specialists to expand their reach or monetize their content through HFH's platform. When users want to communicate about different articles and items within the app, Reddit-style conversational functionality was added to drive engagement.
What did I accomplish?
MRR went up like 500%, etc etc
