A fighting chance - editorial call to action advert
I made a 21 second call to action Online Editorial ad video that would be placed in Woman's health magazine. Aimed toward first time mothers in South Africa who are skeptical or not as informed about vaccinations. Specifically the MMR vaccinations.
This ad is relevant to the UNEPs goal of good health and well being.
I wanted the new mothers to think and learn of the importance of vaccinating their child. They should feel shocked at the potential danger.
The NGO this ad would partner up with to inform people of vaccinations would be the NICD.
My ad shows a child in danger, indirectly showing the viewer how dangerous not having the booster vaccination is. I chose a gaming style because that is what young women in south africa enjoy doing. The hook is that the child was safe regardless of the attack because they had protection and gained more (the shield is a metaphor for the booster shot that provides more protection).
