Redesigned Audius For Africa

I recently stumbled upon Audius, and all I can say is whoa—this could be a game-changer for artists here in Sierra Leone.

As someone who’s been part of the music scene (or at least tried to be!), I know firsthand how hard it is for Sierra Leonean artists to actually profit from their music. I can easily name ten friends who haven’t earned a single leone from their songs, despite all their passion and talent. Platforms like Audius could really flip the script here.

I had this idea to make the UX on Audius even more engaging: every time you listen to a track, you earn a small reward. Share it with a friend, and you both get a bonus! It’s a fun way to connect with our music and support local artists, helping Sierra Leone’s unique sound reach new audiences.
