Santos - City Logo

The logo study for the city of Santos (Brazil) draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the city, which is renowned for its breathtaking beaches and the world’s longest beach garden.

The green side of the circle symbolises the beach garden, while the blue represents the ocean. Where these two colours converge, they form an “S” shape, symbolising both the coastline and the initial of Santos, thereby bringing a sense of place to the design.

Encircling the “S” in green and blue, the shape also reflects the warmth of the sun—an almost constant presence in this vibrant beach city—highlighting Santos’ unique blend of sea, sand, and sun.
