Editorial illustration - Outgrowing Your Hometown

This piece was drawn to accompany an online magazine article written for teenaged girls, about growing up and outgrowing their old friends and life. The piece focussed on the author's experience of feeling trapped in a home that had once felt comfortable. I had toyed with a few iterations of this illustration, but eventually settled on this one as I felt it got the message across in the most visually succinct manner.
