This character, named "Qiji, the Jade Vindicator," is inspired by the iconic Chinese panda and draws thematic elements from the life of the famous Song dynasty poet and general 辛弃疾(Xin Qiji). His name, "弃疾(Qiji)," is a play on the sound of Xin Qiji's name, creating a symbolic connection to his legendary legacy.

Qiji wields a massive jade brush as his primary weapon, symbolizing his scholarly intellect and deep cultural knowledge. In his other hand, he carries a jade gourd, and he wears three banners on his back—a nod to the martial spirit and grandeur often depicted in traditional Chinese opera. This balance between intellect and military prowess defines Qiji as both a man of letters and a fierce warrior.

The design incorporates jade-green elements throughout his attire and weapons, a tribute to the panda's connection to bamboo and the significance of jade in Chinese culture. Jade, with its close resemblance to bamboo in color, is a revered material symbolizing purity and strength. His outfit also includes a unique triple yin-yang emblem, combining traditional black-and-white with a third jade-green component to echo his panda-like appearance.

Qiji's clothing showcases a contrast between his bold, bare-chested physique, representing his warrior side, and the wide-sleeved robe, symbolizing the refined elegance of a scholar. His design also features red and gold—two colors with strong cultural symbolism in China. Red, as a national color, stands for prosperity and vitality, while gold emphasizes Qiji's high-ranking, almost royal status as a general.
