MHSATS Nursing Leadership Conference

MHSATS Nursing Leadership Conference 2024

Visual Identity

Creative Brief

Project Overview: The MHSATS Nursing Leadership Conference 2024 aims to bring together nursing leaders to discuss advancements in mental health and substance abuse care. The goal of this project is to create a visual identity that reflects the conference's theme, values, and mission while fostering a sense of community among participants.

Services Offered by MHSATS:

  • Medication Management: Comprehensive oversight of medication regimens for optimal patient outcomes.

  • Group and Individual Therapy: Tailored therapeutic approaches to support patients' mental health journeys.

  • Aftercare Planning: Personalized plans to ensure continued support after treatment.

  • Relapse Prevention: Strategies and resources aimed at minimizing the risk of relapse.

  • Person-Centered Care: A commitment to placing patients at the heart of all care decisions.

Design Inspiration:

  • Existing Branding: The previous conference theme, "Becoming the Mountain: Rooted In Transformation," utilized mountain imagery to symbolize growth and resilience. For the 2024 conference, it’s important to incorporate elements of this mountain graphic to maintain continuity while introducing fresh visual concepts. References to iconic and historic nurse, Florence Nightingale.

Tone of Voice: Caring, Grace-Giving, Grit, Determination, and Staff and Patient-Centered.

Market Positioning:

  • Competitors: Members of the greater leadership team, American Nurses Association, and American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

  • Unique Selling Proposition: MHSATS is a local Minnesota organization with a smaller, more intimate team of nurse leaders, fostering closer connections and collaborative discussions among participants.

Target Audience: Nursing leaders from within MHSATS and affiliated organizations, including experienced professionals dedicated to advancing mental health and substance abuse treatment.

  • Psychographics: Individuals who value collaboration, leadership development, and innovative care approaches, seeking to enhance their skills and network with peers.

Design Objectives:

  1. Develop a Cohesive Visual Identity: Create a logo and branding elements that reflect the conference theme while incorporating the mountain imagery to symbolize transformation and growth.

  2. Nurture Community and Connection: Use design elements that evoke a sense of belonging and support, aligning with the caring and determined tone of voice.

  3. Create Versatile Marketing Materials: Design materials for print and digital use that effectively communicate the conference details and resonate with the target audience.
