Packaging Design Options for a tea brand

Here's my latest project, designing packaging for Shri Priya Tea, a premium tea brand that values quality, tradition, and natural ingredients. I created two distinct packaging concepts, each reflecting the brand's essence in unique ways.

Concept 1: Fresh Minimalism with a Touch of Nature

For this version, I went with a softer, more minimalistic look that emphasises freshness and natural ingredients. This version offers a modern twist, focusing on simplicity and visual calmness:

  • Soft Green Background 🍃: Creates a calming, refreshing aesthetic that is often associated with tea.

  • Floral Illustrations 🌸: Positioned at the bottom to evoke a natural, garden-like feel, hinting at the brand’s organic values. The colourful, delicate florals suggest a vibrant, nature-inspired product.

  • Minimalist Layout 🧘‍♂️: Clean and open, with ample white space around the central brand elements, giving the design a premium and sophisticated look.

  • Brand Name and Weight Badge 💛: These elements remain consistent with the first design to maintain brand identity and create cohesion across product variations.

Concept 2: Classic Elegance with Ornamental Detailing

For the second design, I focused on a rich and earthy aesthetic to highlight the premium quality of Shri Priya Tea. Each design element was carefully chosen to evoke a sense of luxury and tradition:

Leaf Patterned Background 🌱: Symbolises freshness and the core ingredient—tea leaves—instantly connecting the product to nature.

  • Earthy Brown Central Label 🤎: Provides a strong contrast and conveys warmth and authenticity, making the product feel more grounded and reliable.

  • Golden Ornamental Frame ✨: Adds a touch of sophistication, signalling a premium product.

  • Clear and Concise Product Details 📏: Essential information like weight (500g) and a simple tagline are easy to locate and understand.
