30 Days of Web Design Challenge | Day 01

Hi everyone! 👋

My name is Amanda and welcome to design one for the 30-day web design challenge. For this challenge, I will design a hero section in only one hour for 30 days* in a row (*weekdays). Since I also love brand identity design, I've added the extra challenge of designing a basic brand identity for each day too, including a logo, typography, color palette, and brand personality/tone, and ensuring that all written copy and imagery aligns with the brand identity.

For day one, I wanted to start with a simple design so I designed using a black, white, and gray color palette, a simple logo, and a clean serif and sans serif typography combo. The images are all from Unsplash. Overall, I like how this came out and am already planning on designing another coffee shop's hero section for day 30, just to see how my design style might change!
