Pastoral — Menu

How do you build a viable vegetarian restaurant?

Much of the world is plant-based — around 30-50% of 🇮🇳Indians & 10% of 🇺🇸Americans. However, it’s still not easy to find restaurants that specifically cater to vegetarians when traveling abroad.

🖼️Pastoral fixes this. It’s a vegetarian (& vegan) restaurant locator made like Lonely Planet & Wikivoyage. The community can add what’s called Journey Guides to help users find narratives that help vegetarian restaurants get seen. They make money by monetizing the Journey Guide content and acting as local guides to the tourists.

This mockup is part of our imagined design solution to help a noble cause be better, in honor of Vegetarian Awareness Month 2024.
