🧘🏼♀️Zen Academy - Ecommerce Website Design
Zen Academy — A yoga platform
Task: The client had two separate websites: one for blogging and one for selling courses. However, the audience was scattered between the two, which reduced the conversion rate for buying meditation courses.
The main task was to redesign and merge several Zen Academy websites while keeping the brand's signature colors, fonts and logo intact
Issues with the previous design
Design Issues: Zen Academy's previous website, although structured, had several key problems.Poor readability and large chunks of text made it difficult to navigate.
The outdated design didn’t capture the modern, calming feel of a yoga platform, which lowered user engagement and complicated the class purchasing process.
Modern design and improved usability
Solution: I developed a clean and modern design focused on readability and user engagement, adding decorative elements to reflect Zen's new corporate identity in a special way.
The layout was optimized with clear headings and better spacing for easier navigation. A calming aesthetic was introduced to reflect the yoga brand, and the purchasing process was streamlined through an improved cart system.
Here’s the website after the redesign
What was done: The redesign introduced a clean, calming style aligned with yoga’s peaceful philosophy, enhancing user experience with an inviting, intuitive interface.
I've updated the home page with categories, new courses, and an updated magazine, and on the courses page, users can now purchase packages through the shopping cart.
Results that speak for themselves
Results: After the redesign, Zen Academy experienced a 35% increase in users and a 20% improvement in course purchase conversion rates. The revamped navigation reduced the time users spent searching for courses, leading to a more seamless experience.
Clients, both new and existing, provided positive feedback on the new design, praising its simplicity and ease of use.
