Seyed al-shohada Hospital - Logo Design
Seyyed Al-Shohada Hospital is a public educational and therapeutic center located in the city of Jahrom, operating under the supervision of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences. This four-story hospital is situated within the "Khajehai Brothers Medical Complex," which is considered a healthcare hub for the city of Jahrom. Its specialized services, advanced equipment, and unique geographical location at the foothills of a mountain overlooking citrus orchards make it one of the most important medical centers in southern Iran.
Design Problem
Seyyed Al-Shohada Hospital is a public educational and therapeutic center operating under the Jahrom University of Medical Sciences. Since its establishment, this hospital has used the logo of the "Jahrom University of Medical Sciences" for its identification, which has prevented it from having an independent identity as a healthcare hub to attract health tourists.
Design Solution
The hospital aims to develop a distinctive visual identity and logo to enhance its recognition in southern Iran and the Gulf countries. This initiative will support the launch and activation of luxury (non-emergency) medical services and health tourism, helping it achieve its primary goal of further development.
About the Logo of Seyyed Al-Shohada Hospital
The logo of Seyyed Al-Shohada Hospital is inspired by the palm tree, a plant that holds a special and symbolic place in Jahrom. The palm trees in this city are known for their tall stature and have a royal connotation.
The palm not only refers to the local and cultural identity of this city (the City of the Faithful) but also establishes an implicit connection with the name of Imam Seyyed Al-Shohada; throughout Islamic history, this tree has been associated with the character of this figure.
The three branches of the palm symbolize the hospital's primary mission: Care, Treatment, and Recovery, and also allude to the number of the third Imam of Shia Muslims, Imam Hussein (PBUH). The expansive movement of the branches represents healing and rejuvenation.
The star signifies the pinnacle of progress and achievement. It also reflects the hospital's vision as a healthcare hub in the southern region of the country, where it steps forward in developing health tourism by utilizing expertise, advanced equipment, and offering international and luxury services.
Competitive Advantage
A. Specialized Services and Advanced Equipment: This hospital operates at the same level as the country's major hospitals, thanks to its ability to perform complex surgeries and its access to modern equipment.
B. Prime Location: The geographical location on the foothills of the mountains, with a view of the citrus orchards of Jahrom, provides a clean and newly built environment for patients, offering a unique experience in terms of climate and visual beauty.
Brand Vision
A. Activating the VIP and International Patient Department (IPD): To attract foreign patients and health tourism.
B. Hospital Expansion: Establishing departments for aesthetics, neurology and psychiatry, infertility treatment, burn care, and specialized cardiology.
C. Becoming a Green Hospital: This hospital is listed among the green hospitals in the country, with plans to activate a botanical garden within the hospital premises as part of its sustainability initiatives.
