I’d been on a job hunt recently, but things were feeling a bit rough – so I thought, why not kick back and create some logo animations to unwind? 🌈

Scrolling through social media, I saw some super cool Firefox logo animations and felt inspired to give it my own spin. So, I dove into Firefox’s branding guide, downloaded their assets, and exported the logos as an Illustrator file for After Effects.

But, as I opened up the file, I hit some roadblocks: gradients everywhere, and the color bands were split across separate layers, so they weren’t exactly ready for After Effects. Took a bit more time than expected, but I powered through, and voilà – here’s my animated take on the Firefox logo! 😅

It's not a pixel-perfect match to the original since I had to rework the color bands, but I’m happy with how it turned out, and I hope you enjoy it too.
